“Lost and Found” is a temporary place for lost things. The installation explores feeling and mood through colour, space, and light. It conjures hope and disillusionment, but leaves room for the viewer to find their own seeing and meaning.
Pam Su’s practice welcomes both control and chaos in her work with clay and glaze. Su channels the vast, wild and lonely psyche of the American West and pulls contemporary ceramics practice along for the ride.

Based on the ceramic panel by Eugene-Victor Collinot (France, 1867) housed in Victoria and Albert Museum, London, this is an investigation into enamel painting onto form. While mood of the original is light and airy, encompassing a narrative scene, the contemporary translation focused on entering, isolating, and magnifying the essence of the original.
